Our PTA
Hello, thanks for visiting the PTA page of the school website.
Our PTA is a voluntary group of parents, teachers and friends of the school, who organise events to raise money for the school and its pupils. (Flick down to the bottom of the page to see some of the most recent events)
As a committee, we meet regularly to discuss new ideas and to plan our fund-raising events. Anyone can take part or join our committee. If you would like to come along to one of our meetings, please look out for the next meeting announced on the school newsletter or speak to a PTA member on the playground. We are always open to new ideas and suggestions, if you think you could give us an hour or so please feel free to come along.
If you are unable to commit to meetings but want to be more involved in school, there are many other ways in which you can support:

If you are unable to commit to meetings but want to be more involved in school, there are many other ways in which you can support:
- We always need helpers at our events, from working a stall at the summer fete, to serving tea and coffees at Confirmation.
- We also rely on several parents to do the 'behind the scenes' work such as preparing tombola prizes or wrapping presents for the Secret Room at Meet Santa, our Christmas Fete.
- Why not get involved in our 50/50 club? Forms can be collected from the school office and every month a winner is drawn. Half of the money raised goes to the children and the other half is distributed to the winners. You never know, you could be the next winner!
We are registered with Easy Fundraiser which donates money to school for purchases made online. Please follow the link and sign up to St Mary of the Angels PFTA. The more supporters we have, the more we raise and best of all, it costs nothing. Speak to any of the PTA or staff in the school office for further details and don’t forget to ask friends and family to join up to!
Our main events throughout the year are the Summer Fete and our Christmas Fete, 'Meet Santa'. We also try and hold as many fun and exciting events for the children, and parents, as we can. School discos are always popular with the children so look out for up and coming events via the newsletter, website or the PTA Facebook page.
The money raised from these events have provided school with the following luxury items, in recent years:
